Layout
From bow to stern: Fore peak with anchor rode storage compartment, next aft are crew quarters with upper and lower berths, a hanging locker, and head compartment with separate stall shower to starboard. Next on the same level is a full galley to port with a gas range, microwave convection oven, sink, toaster oven, and 2 pullout refrigerator drawers. To starboard is a galley buffet with additional storage cabinets and 1 refrigerator and 1 freezer. Up three steps walking aft is the salon with a L-settee with coffee table to port. To stbd is a TV and space for two chairs. Further aft and down four steps is a companionway with the electrical room to stbd and a guest stateroom to port with over and under berths, a hanging locker, and ample storage drawers. The guest head is to stbd with shower stall. Further aft is the master stateroom with twin berths to port and stbd, two hanging lockers, and a head compartment with shower stall. Further aft and up give steps is a door to the cockpit that house the engine below the sole. From the salon and up five steps is the semi-enclosed bridge deck with a full hardtop, fixed side windows, and isinglass enclosure aft. The helm console is on the center-line forward with a companionway seat to port. The built in lounge seating aft has all new Ultra-leather navy cushions and new carpet.

Twin GM 8V71N diesels, 323 HP, fresh water cooled, rated at 323 hp each @ 2300 rpm (Rebuilt in 2019). Current engine hours after rebuild: 550. 24"24" 3 bladed bronze props New engine mounts, all new exhaust and risers 32v starting motors and 32v belt driven alternator on the stbd engine and 12v alternator on the port. Gears: Allison M10 hydraulic gears with 1.06:1 reduction V drives: Huckins M56 with 1.38:1 reduction Controls are SS aircraft cable working via chain and sprocket with 1/4" wire cable for rudders and 1/16" wire cable for the separate throttle and gear leavers. Monel SS fuel and water tanks new cockpit engine hatches (in process) Engine room detailed and repainted (in process)

Construction
Frames are 1x3" sawn white oak on approximate 14" centers with double 1/2" plywood floor timbers and chime gussets glued and bolted to the frames. Engine and V drive beds are four vertically mounted 2" side bolted to the frames. There are four bulkheads (3 are watertight):Forepeak, ahead of Hold A, aft of Hold B, and ahead of engine compartment. The three aft bulkheads are fitted with limber hole valves. The hull planking is double 3/8" diagonal Philippine mahogany glued with resorcinal resin and fastened with copper clinch nails and bronze screws. The deck is 3/4" marine plywood over 1x2" deck beams. The superstructure is 3/ 4" marine plywood. The hull is sheathed in 20 oz. fiberglass cloth set in epoxy. The decks and superstructure tops are sheathed in 10 oz. fiberglass cloth set in epoxy. The interior bilge planking has been epoxy coated.
