Upon entering the salon and dining area, the first thing you notice is the beautiful Philippine mahogany woodwork. There are windows across the front and down the sides of the salon area which gives a bright open feeling and allows for scenic views onto the water. As you enter, a large wrap around sofa is to port with the lower helm just forward. The lower helm is quite unique with it’s roll away top and pocket doors. When the helm is not in use and the panels are closed, the unit appears to be a desk or storage cabinet. When needed, simply roll back the top and slide the two pocket doors into their slots and you have your helm ready to use. Opposite of the helm, on starboard, there is a built-in entertainment cabinet with bottle storage and map storage cabinets. The ship’s electrical panels are located on the side of the lower helm station.
