Vessel History

     First Owners - 1989 - 2013

• Engineer; took boat to Caribbean at least once
• Built his own wind generator; had water maker and solar
• Had Westerbeke 46 w/ 5,600 +hrs
• Sold boat in FL

     Second Owners - 2013 - 2021

     2013, after purchase

• Boat needed a lot of work and cleaning
• Removed water maker, and solar panels
• Maintained boat with an "open check book"
• New electronics:
• Raymarine 6001 A/P with under deck linear drive, E-series 10" plotter at the helm
• 24 "Raymarine radar on pole with gimbal mount
• Raymarine multi-display at the helm
• Standard Horizon VHF
• New Leisure Furl roller boom with Doyle full battened main. Used only 8 times in 8 yrs.
• Lewmar 40 electric halyard winch installed on cabin top
• Ultra-Leather fabric covering new foam in the saloon.
• New blue synthetic cloth fabric covering on new foam mattress in forepeak
• Bow thruster (external) installed
• 6,500 BTU Mermaid reverse cycle heat/air installed under aft bunk, for aft cabin and saloon

• Replaced A/C water pump

     2016

• Installed new Victron battery monitor
• Replaced house & start battery banks with Victron deep cycle batteries - 4 Victron 6v 225 Ah each, wired in series, then in parallel for the house bank of 450 Ah., and 1 12v 110 Ah start battery

     2017

• SS NAVTEC rod rigging surveyed annually
• New no-stretch jib and spinnaker halyards
• Running rigging replaced
• All sea cocks replaced
• Mast unstepped
• Shrouds reheaded on rod rigging
• Upper bearing on jib furler replaced
• VHF antenna replaced
• Spin halyard replaced,
• Forestay and backstay replaced with 3/8" wire

     2018

• Hot water heater replaced with a 6-gal Isotemp
• Replaced two hatches over galley and chart table
• New dodger installed with Polycarbonate glass

     2019

• Boat was used very little due to owner's medical issues

     2020

• Boat was out of the water most of the year for repairs
• New Raritan PHII head and macerator pump
• New Seafrost frig installed
• Yard neglected to remove the garboard plug upon winterization & boat filled with water to just below cabin sole. Insurance claim paid $92K to install:
• New Nanni 50hp diesel engine, wiring, cleaning and painting of entire engine compartment, new sound-down in compartment, custom antiphon pipe, engine mounts, exhaust hose, Aqua Drive antivibration unit rebuilt, shaft refurbished, new cutlass bearing, max prop overhauled by PYl with larger blades to accommodate larger tranny, new dripless shaft seal, larger 120 amp Balmar alternator installed, new "Shark" line cutter installed, diesel fuel tank quantity gage installed, fuel "polished “and double filtered, new engine hoses installed, steel engine mounts cleaned and painted, installed new 1 " thru hull for engine raw water intake, upsized exhaust hose to 2 3/8" and exhaust tube on transom, installed new fuel fill and vent hoses, replaced galley sink drain thru hull, installed shaft brush to protect from galvanic corrosion
• Entire cabin sole sanded, prepped and a new overlay of melamine ply with teak and holly sole glued down and satin varnished
• Replaced cockpit and forward vanity drain thru-hulls

    Third Owner 2021 (sold for medical reasons)

• New Kato davits
• New VHF remote mike installed at the helm

• Installed new anchor wash down pump and fitting
• Installed new Lewmar Pro-fish windlass with hand-held remote at bow & at helm.
• New Rocna 20 (44 lb.) Anchor
• 155' of 5/16" G4 chain and 125' of 3-strand nylon line rode, plus 110' of 8-platt line with 9' of 3/8" chain for 2nd rode.

     2022

• Installed new ss collapsible boarding/swim ladder on starboard side
• Life raft re-certified
• New Victron 2000-watt inverter/charger
• New 50' shore power cord
• Installed new 0B engine hoist on stern

     Fourth Owner 2023 - 2024 (selling to go larger)

• (2) New electric water tank gauges for each tank with (2) new senders
• New bimini connector and side panels
• Upgraded bow thruster wiring and added Victron monitor
• (2) Coats of Petit Hydrocoat
• New start battery
• Most lights have been changed to LED
• Fridge recharged
• Oxidation compound remover applied, buffed and then (2) coats of wax

Accommodations

     Sleeps 6 in a comfortable three cabin layout with spacious berths. The V-berth has an ensuite sink and vanity and the aft double berth cabin has its own private access to the head and shower. The main salon has a settee berth to starboard. Both settees have navy ultra-leather cushions.

     Throughout the boat you find varnished teak and holly cabin sole, exquisite teak joinery, rich teak cabinets and panel doors with custom teak headers over the doors. Beautifully handcrafted bookshelves are blended with elegant interior furnishings throughout. The main bulkhead has a teak bookshelf and a brass Chelsea clock with ship's bell and barometer. Drawers, shelves and ample hanging lockers are provided for clothing and provision storage.

     Excellent ventilation and light come from 9 Lewmar hatches and 12 Beckson opening ports, all with screens. Fixed ports have been upgraded with clear laminated safety glass. Four SS Dorade vents with vent covers and numerous cabin fans keep air moving and the crew comfortable.

     The roomy galley is to port and includes all the equipment and conveniences as well as generous counter space.

Opposite the galley, the aft facing Nav Station includes a large opening desk, drawers and navigation electronics with easy access to the electrical distribution panel. 

Next aft to starboard adjacent to the companionway is the head with adjoining shower stall including a seat and wet locker for hanging foul weather gear.

     Access to the aft cabin is through the galley and the shower stall. The berth is very wide and features a deluxe custom made mattress. Excellent storage is provided by a hanging locker, drawers and cabinets.
