The 1991 Silverton 38 Express was built on a proven modified-V design with a wide beam and relatively high freeboard. The mid-cabin floorplan is arranged with double berths in both staterooms, and a unique window-wall separates the forward stateroom from the salon. A cluster of six overhead skylights provides outside lighting, while the liberal use of mirrors makes the interior seem very open and spacious.
