1999 Sabreline 34 Sedan

Folly Beach, South Carolina

$99,000

Miss Emily is a nice example of an easy cruising Sabreline 34 Sedan. The Sabreline 34 has one large cabin forward, with a full head and shower compartment attached. Occasional guests can be accommodated in the main salon. The big feature of a sedan style boat is her cockpit. The cockpit is a natural extension of the main salon and provides a great place for the crew to relax while underway. It also becomes the center of social activity when the boat is at anchor or dockside. The Sabreline 34 offers lower and upper helm stations which add further to the social aspect by bringing the captain in closer contact with the crew. Her Caterpillar 3116 mains have had their 2,000 hour service. This would be a great looping boat, or a coastal cruiser. The boat does have the Cooke Composite Gelcoat failure issue. Come see her in beautiful and convenient Charleston, SC.

Powerboat Guide Description

Quality construction and a beautiful Teak interior characterized the Sabreline 34 when she was introduced in 1991. She’s built on the same modified-V hull used in the production of the original Sabreline 36 with moderate beam and a shallow keel for directional stability. Like all Sabre boats (sail or power), there’s no shortage of craftsmanship or attention to detail in the way she’s put together. Her traditional Teak (later changed to cherry) interior is arranged with the galley forward in the salon opposite the lower helm and a walkaround island berth in the stateroom. Everything is carefully arranged with an eye toward practicality and comfort. The large salon windows all open (so does the center windshield forward), and ventilation in this boat is exceptional. The 34 isn’t a beamy boat so the interior dimensions are somewhat compact. Notable features include excellent engine access and a stall shower in the head, which also has a wet locker (nice touch). A popular model, the Sabreline 34 will cruise at 18 knots with twin 220hp Cummins diesels and reach a top speed of 20–21 knots (Miss Emily has the factory upgrade Caterpillar 3116 255hp diesels). Later models with 300hp Yanmars cruise in the low 20s (around 25 knots top).
