2002 Custom Andrew Simpson

St George

$39,000

Shindig is a custom built 39ft cruising cutter designed and owned by the British designer and boat builder Andrew Simpson & Associates.  Andrew Simpson is perhaps better known as the associate editor of Practical Boat Owner - a popular yachting publication in the UK.  The design criteria was that Shindig should be easily sailed by two people, with good performance, bright and open interior, easy to maintain with all fastenings and secondary fixtures removable. Good visibility from below and a strong rig. From the cockpit, sails can be easily handled. Below she is well thought out, light and airy in an open plan design.

The settees can also serve as bunks. Aft of the saloon is the u shaped galley area to port with stainless steel sinks, gimballed 2 burner stove and oven, top loading frigoboat 12v refrigeration and plenty of storage.
