2007 Garcia Passoa 54

Tahiti

$333,654

GARCIA Passoa 54 just completed a full deck and hull repaint, plus anti-fouling end 2023.  New electronics added and the boat is fully ready to cruise.

French Polynesia tax paid, so the boat can stay in this region if required and has a hard stand place where the boat is currently stored.

The GARCIA Passoa 54 is one of the best aluminium offshore cruising yachts. Built in very strong aluminium, to very high standards of workmanship she is one of the safest sailboats in her category and definitely a favourite for sailors wanting to cruise long distances and explore remote places.

Her rotating centerboard means her draft goes from 1,45 m to 2,65 m making her efficient upwind and able to access shallow anchorages. Her elegant lines and her cutter rig provide for great sailing at any angle to the wind.

Xing is one the most recent Passoa 54, built in 2007 and the only one with a proper owner’s lay out – so 2 cabins and a technical room.

She has a very large double cabin in front, with a desk area, ample storage, an en-suite bathroom. She also offers a double guest cabin on port, a technical and storage room, a nice bathroom, a proper chart table and a very large saloon area with 2 additional berths. The galley is nicely appointed with big work surfaces, a double sink, a freezer and a fridge. The interior is very roomy and offers lots of natural light. With beautiful woodwork in great condition she is definitely a very elegant yacht.

She is completely insulated so the interior is cool in the tropics and stays warm in the cold climate. She is also equipped with a stove for heating.

Her engine is a Perkins Sabre 135 HP with only 2200 hours, her propeller is a 3 blades folding Maxprop and she can reach 9 knots under engine when needed. With 1260 liters of diesel and 1500 liters of water she is autonomous for very long passages.

She is equipped with 680W of solar (2020), all the electronics are from 2018 and 12” hybrid touch chartplotter 2023, she has 1 000 Amp/h of house batteries, the sails from Incidences are in great condition, the safety equipment is up to date, she has 2 dinghies and 2 outboards, 100 of 12 mm chain on her main 40 kg anchor…she is definitely ready to take you everywhere on the oceans.

Add to that a large cockpit with teak in great condition, a nice aft platform, smart davit system for lifting the dinghy…that makes her a perfect choice for a couple wanting to sail around the world in safety onboard a very comfortable and elegant yacht.

Manufacturer Provided Description
The Passoa 54 was designed by Harle, Mortain, and Mavrikios, and has a centerboard amidships and daggerboard aft so that she can be adjusted for exceptional balance on all points of sail. Normally cutter rigged, she is available with self-tending jib if desired, or may be sloop rigged. The layout can accommodate 4 double cabins comfortably, but a 3-cabin layout is better for long-term cruising. Her beam is sufficient for the galley, saloon, and a separate walk-thru passage amidships, if desired. Like most boats built by this firm, the Passoa 54 is designated Class 1 by the French Marine inspectorate. This defines a boat as being suitable for sailing worldwide, based on strong structure and seaman-like features such as having a main hatch located above the low point on the cockpit coaming, proper separation of tanks, and many other details.
